Our server was polite but not the most attentive, spending most of her time loudlydescribing her personal life to an acquaintance seated 15 feet away from us. The menu seemed extensive but even after waiting 10or more minutes for our server to remember us, I still hadn?t been able to read all the options because of the 4 point, seriffont. (If you?re silly enough to venture into this joint take a magnifying glass and a flashlight. Oh, did I mention how dimlylit it is? I was forced to order something simple; pancakes and eggs over easy. The pancakes were pancakes. The eggs were notover easy. The most enjoyable part of the visit was leaving.
Service was very good and staff were very friendly. Food was only so-so and just not very interesting. I was grateful that they had gluten free toast and GF cinnamon bread toast.
Brunch here during the week was a decent experience. Service was good. Prices are affordable and the value is worth it. I wanted French toast with chicken instead of chicken and waffles and they made it happen. The mimosas were a bit weak but they did havebottomless mimosas. Adding it to our list of brunch spots.
Neighborhood hole in the wall. Don't judge by the outside appearance. Fresh tasting. Charleston Breakfast Tea was one offered at breakfast and sold by the box. Apparently, they are the only tea farmer in the US. I'm a tea drinker and I had NO idea. Turkeybacon and sausage available.
Wow. This place was delicious. I had the steak sandwich with rice and beans and plantains and I was floored with the taste. Love this place and it's 2 minutes from my house. I'm about to get mad fat.
