Century Bar and Grill - Alpine

Two options are available for vegetarians/vegans. Unfortunately the vegan option was skimpy on protein (tofu). Associates were friendly, but service wait times were long. The ambience was great, but not a good value.

Had never visited the Holland Hotel and absolutely loved our experience at the restaurant. So much so that we went twice! Had a great server and the food was extremely good specifically the andouille sausage and tortellini soup. Loved the ambiance, as well.

My wife and I ordered black bean burgers. They were substantial size, but lacked flavor. The accompanying sweet potato waffle fries were very good. My Manhattan was lacking. Service was attentive. I would recommend Century Bar and Grill for refined dining because of limited options in Alpine.

We have eaten there many times. The food and service has always been good. My wife’s food was good as for the steak I ordered. It was a tough as shoe leather. Very poor cut of meat and wasn’t cooked properly.

This restaurant is in the Holland Hotel in Alpine, TX. It was fabulous. The chefs did an excellent job preparing our food. The red fish and rice was top notch. The veggie burger was also good. This vintage hotel is a great place to stay and visit the surrounding areas of Marfa, Ft. Davis and the McDonald Observatory. But be sure to come back to this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.
