I have only heard positive things about this restaurant. My friend and I went on Valentine's Day and it was quite busy. They had a limited menu to start, but the options were fantastic. I did find the wait for our food, which took an hour and 15 minutes, a bit too long. However, the food was delicious and I have no complaints. The staff even noticed our wait and adjusted our bill without us having to ask. I would love to visit again, preferably not on a holiday, to try more of their dishes.
This was our first time here and we lived 5 years in the eg. I was disappointed. we had ordered a party of 6, 4 from the menu. the server took our order is separate visit, so our eating was slow. our app by bruschetta was overwhelming for the price of $8 for two discs. our salate came 30 minutes after our order. to supplement it from two other tables for 4 who sit after we get their food before we did. I talked to the manager and she offered to get us what we wanted, but we just wanted to eat ours. I would have been discounted or free entry would have been nice. it was a special occasion for our daughter who just moved to the city and it was such a disappointment that we wait for an hour to eat. we were all angry and ready to go when our food finally came. we came at 6 and it was moderately busy.
Great place, excellent eating, service, atmosphere.
Our waiter was great, however the food was below average. We ordered the butternut squash ravioli and it was covered in a sweet cream sauce. Not good at all. I would like to mention that the decor is extremely dated. We felt the same way about Taverna Grill. The decor is strange and makes no sense. I don’t see us returning.
