The atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable, making it a great place to unwind during lunch hours. It must be the only buffet in town for it to be the best in Alvarado. Staff is very courteous. Atmosphere is reminiscent of a private home with kids running around. Service is self-serve. You collect your own utensils, condiments, and fortune cookies for take-out. The food lacked flavor as did the sauces. Had Orange Chicken with fried rice and Chicken Lo Mein. It was bland. Like they didn't add any salt.
