If you're thinking anything seafood Stuarts is place . First and foremost they're good people. The seafood is always fresh, local, and if you want lobsters cooked and cracked you will not find better. they are open year round which is also great. Ican with full confidence recommend Stuarts for all your seafood needs and their prepared foods are also great. soups, salads,etc.

The restaurant experience has changed significantly since the new ownership took over. We've purchased whole fish three times, and each time it has developed a rancid smell within 24 hours, despite our efforts to marinate it with lemon and fresh herbs. If you visit the shop—even if you’re just there for seafood—be sure to check out the produce; it’s on the verge of spoiling. It's truly disappointing.

I’m very pleased with the consistently excellent quality and freshness of the fish I purchase here. The prepared foods are also fantastic.

It's disappointing to write this review because we've been fans of Stuart's for years. Unfortunately, the new owners have increased prices to the point where it feels outrageous. Steamers are now priced at $12 or more per pound! I can get two pounds of steamers at another restaurant for less than it would cost me to prepare them myself. We’ll have to look for other seafood options moving forward.

As many have mentioned, it really isn't the same anymore—far from it, in fact. Every time I place a phone order, something goes wrong, and when I bring it up, the staff seems frustrated with me as if I'm to blame. There are plenty of seafood places around, and I’m not willing to put up with this kind of nonsense anymore. They've lost a loyal customer who has been with them for a long time. My advice: avoid ordering from there if you want to ensure your meal meets expectations, because I can guarantee it won't.
