It was about a 30 minute wait to be seated but you can play games, have a drink at the bar, walk the patio or visit the gift shop, so it actually wasn’t too bad. We were seated upstairs and had a great view of the restaurant, and cooks, as well as the raised center for those willing to take on the 72oz challenge. I started off with some fried pickles and then got the 8oz center cut with cheesy broccoli and a Cesar salad, which was VERY filling. I didn’t get to try any dessert but they have quite a bit to choose from. All in all, a great experience, awesome atmosphere, friendly servers, and top notch food. Definitely stop and try if you’re in the area.

What a hoot! Go there for the experience, not necessarily the food. We went on a Wednesday, so there wasn 't a wait. There were plenty of customers but the place is huge. As most everyone else, they sat us at the end of a very long 'family style ' table, but the waitress told us that we could move to the window table for 2. Free souvenir plastic cups for your water. The atmosphere is like a raucous movie western saloon. Those vying for a free 72 oz. steak are placed in the center at a raised table with prominent timers to mark their progress. You can see the steaks being cooked. Ours was a little tough but the ribs were good. Take the time to check out the Big Texan sign, the Big Tex Rex, and the multi-colored hotel rooms. And there 's always the souvenir/gift shop,
