The Lost Cajun - Amarillo

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is exceptional. Having enjoyed a lot of Cajun cuisine thanks to my family's roots in Pierre Part and Belle Rose, I can confidently say that this place ranks among the best.

The fish servings were on the small side, and my order didn't come with fries, which I had to send back. While the flavor was okay, it didn't really stand out to me. I'll pass on returning until my next visit to Dallas, or unless I find a place that can compare to Pappadeaux.

The flavors are genuine, although not particularly remarkable. The service is prompt, and while the portion sizes might not align with your expectations, I found them to be quite ample. They provide a sampler for first-time diners, which is an excellent choice. I strongly recommend trying the sauces before making a decision on your entree. Whether you’re a Cajun expert or trying the cuisine for the first time, you probably won’t be shocked when your dish arrives.

Just off 40 and worth the detour. Service was top notch and friendly. Seafood gumbo, catfish and pasta dishes were awesome. They bring mini samples of different cajun dishes and every one was awesome, wish we'd had room for dessert.

Excellent food and service. Very friendly staff, fast and excellent. Will definitely be back to try other dishes!
