I and my friend couldn't finish it and it's enough for three people. it contained some seafood, but not much. I think it's worth money. but I can assure myself that eating is not in fine quality. but if they are looking for cheap options, this is a good. alarm! the rucksack was not good and drinking will be spilled when I was not careful. pay attention to their packaging. compare them with other restaurants and restaurants in galle, it is better. many restaurants are very bad when cheap, very expensive, if good. no many possibilities in galle.
Very bad customer service and have some hidden charges, foods also not tast enough.
We ran into this bakery by accident! One day we ate a candy made of nuts, which was fantastic. We learnt it's something offered in weddings. Then we bought a Date Cake... gorgeous!!! Soft, not so sweet, fresh... delicious! The other day we ate a kind of garlic bread, and the other an onion puff. They are certainly a place to grab a quick bite! We highly recommend it!
If you don’t want to pay the slightly inflated prices in the Fort, as you hop off the bus or train, do pop into South Ceylon Bakery. It’s cheap and cheerful, the fried egg rolls were a delight. I was tempted by their massive date cake, probably around 6-8 portions, for just Rs 240, but resisted it. If you like eating with the locals, listening to the cacophony of the buses, this is the place to go. We bought a load of things and had them as a picnic on the Fort walls.
Nice place with delicious bakery and good drinks. A popular place to the locals as well. Try the almond cake!
