Cafe Delight - Amber Valley

I have been going to this cafe regularly ever since I moved from Wales. I have tried other cafes in the area, but in my opinion, this one is the best. They have a decent menu with nice homemade soups and generous portions. The food is served hot, not just warm, and they make one of the freshest salads I have had in a long time. The staff is pleasant and very friendly. It may just be a cafe, but it is definitely worth a visit if you are in Ripley. The prices are not overly expensive either.

This place has always been great. We have been regulars (Well, as regular as we can be) for many years now and the food is always cooked to perfection. The staff are amazing and always so very friendly. We are now pretty well-known there so it's always nice to go in and say hi. The food usually comes in prettylarge portions which makes it exellent value for money. The full English comes on a large oval plate and is super large for the price. You also get toast or bread and tea or coffee, so it's well worth it. I usually have a custom made breakfast and they are always more than happy to make alterations to existing menu items, or create something from scratch to suit what you fancy. Excellent place. If you want a good breakfast, definitely go there.

We decided to have lunch at Cafe Delight after being ignored at the cafe across the street. The restaurant has a simple design but is very clean with plenty of space between tables. There are also tables outside on the pedestrianized road, which is convenient for enjoying the summer sun and is also accessible for disabled individuals. The staff is friendly and efficient, and our food was delivered quickly and nicely presented. Overall, it is good value for money.
