George's Tradition - Amber Valley

Visited today with a friend had chips and peas and the drink and it was reasonably priced. Food was cooked. loverly best fish and chips. I have had in a very very long time. will definitely be returning when we are in the area again well done

I have visited this fish bar for years and regularly travel 10 miles to it , never again grey fish loads of bad chips and curry sauce that was sweet??!!!we were so disappointed with it that I asked another customer if it had changed hands, it had . What a shame

Absolutely appalling! Been visiting here for years- can’t believe what I’ve just been served. All gone in the bin- waste of money.

I arranged our pre Christmas lunch for retired work friends, eight of us arrived at the restaurant and two reserved tables were waiting for us. Our meals arrived on the time book (1 pm) the food was absolutely superb, both fish and the chips cooked to perfection. So impressed we all decided to come again in December 2024! A big thanks to all At Nik’s, the food and service was absolutely wonderful. We wish Nik, and all his staff, A Happy Christmas, and a Happy and Healthy, and prosperous 2024!
