The Pottery - Amber Valley

I stumbled upon this charming tea room unexpectedly and decided to try their Christmas afternoon tea. It was absolutely lovely, there was so much food that I had to give up on finishing the cake and asked for a takeout box. The food was high in quality and beautifully presented, the drinks were served piping hot. The owner was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a great time and highly recommend this place. I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much!

Went for Afternoon tea with a friend. The place is lovely and the waitress was friendly and helpful going out of her way to make sure we had a brilliant experience. They happily gave me a Vegetarian option and there were lots of different cakes and sandwiches ect. Brilliant value for money.

8 of us came here for my mum's 60th birthday. We all painted a pot, made a bowl on the wheel (with some help! and enjoyed a fantastic afternoon tea. The whole experience was so much fun and the food was delicious.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at The Pottery today with friends. Delicious sandwiches (with the crusts cut off), scones with jam and clotted cream, a selection of cakes and a drink. All served on hand-made plates made at the pottery. This was a lovely treat and I would definitely recommend it.

We were fortunate enough to find this gem where myself and two young children were welcomed for an early lunch and a pot of delicious tea. Everything was freshly made, quickly produced and beautifully served on their handmade pottery. We had a little sample of the home made brownie and blondies which were delicious. It's a clean, comfortable and welcoming tea room with friendly staff and had we had time, there was a lovely pottery studio for children and adults to paint our own pottery from a large selection. Easy parking in the road right outside or opposite at Lidl.
