Cafe Milo - Ames

The café is quite charming, featuring plenty of seating areas and outlets for convenience. However, I had a disappointing experience with one of the staff members. When I placed my order and later inquired about my drink after waiting for 10 minutes, the worker was quite impatient and responded with an unnecessarily sassy attitude. I approached her politely to check if I needed to pick up my drink myself, and she brusquely indicated that she hadn't gotten to it yet, pointing to her long list in a condescending tone. I wasn't trying to rush her; I simply wanted to confirm whether I should wait for my drink or come to the counter. If she had calmly explained the situation, I wouldn’t have felt the need to leave a negative review. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with a sour impression, and I doubt I'll return. Having worked as a barista myself, I understand the pressures of the job, but it's essential to treat customers kindly, even when things get busy. I'm relieved I decided not to leave her a tip.

There are about a dozen WiFi networks with names like "Cafe Milo Guest," which makes it really difficult to connect to the right one. If you do manage to connect, the signal is typically unreliable at best. The drinks are consistently good, but today I took a risk and ordered a scotcharoo that tasted several days old. I’d recommend getting your order to-go and finding somewhere else to study.

The coffee was decent. However, when I asked about a cinnamon honey latte, the employee informed me that they didn’t have it, despite it being the first option listed on the menu (Miel). Also, it's quite unusual for a coffee shop not to offer whole milk.

Seriously my favorite cafe i?ve ever been to! the girl on the phone was incredibly helpful and made my experience even better, the receipt says her name is jasmina i really hope that?s right. give that girl a raise!! the breakfast bagel is so good herbcream cheese is even better, and the snickerdoodle mocha changed my life. anyways, i highly recommend this place! it?s gonna bemy new favorite place for sure
