Zankou Chicken - Anaheim

The dining experience here is quite enjoyable. You can really sense the expertise that comes with over 30 years in the business. The chicken is expertly prepared, resulting in a tender texture without overwhelming flavors—just beautifully cooked chicken. To those who complain about rising prices, I suggest taking a moment to realize that food costs have increased globally. After all, this is a business that needs to stay profitable.

The review is quite straightforward. I really enjoy their garlic sauce, but I find the chicken to be overpriced. You're better off buying a whole rotisserie chicken from Costco for $5 instead of paying $15 for what seems to be the same thing. The service at the checkout was a bit lacking, and despite being able to see the kitchen, it didn't appear to be very clean. I suggest giving it a try, but this place feels like a Mediterranean version of El Pollo Loco. For better quality, I recommend checking out some local restaurants nearby.

The supervisor, Daniel, apologized for the long wait, but I felt that he was quite rude and didn’t handle the situation well. Other customers could hear the exchange, and it seemed like he didn’t care about their impressions. I believe that customers should be a priority, and he should have made an effort to fulfill their requests. It appears that he needs more training in customer service. During the interaction, he attempted to explain to a customer that the bowl and the plate contained the same amount of meat, but I think he could have communicated this in a more tactful way. The place was very busy at the time, and I believe the entire team could benefit from additional training.

Dinner after a Disneyland trip. Everything was fantastic as always. Ordnete the Tarna and Shawarma Combo, two chicken comb plate for the children and I tried the new bowl. Everything was delicious as usual and no one can beat her garlic sauce. Yummy

I love coming to Zankou! I always order 2 skewers of shish kabob and hummus. Taste great! Garlic sauce is amazing. Avoid the salad, its not my favorite here. Rotisserie chicken is tasty and juicy! I only recommend you personal add salt to your rice so everything could be savory and perfect. I highly recommend Zankou Chicken!
