I was shocked at the price I paid when I saw the amount of food I got, if I didn't starve, I probably wouldn't be done. the humus was amazing and also a good amount, and I had the simple pasta with red soak and soy meat (only delicious! .
I ate a lentil soup, then the meatballs Jewish meal and I had a muffin for the desert. Everything was delicious. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. The place is nice. It's not far from the Mausoleum of Atatürk.
My partner and I live in Sheffield, UK, we’re every restaurant in the city serves vegan food, and the quality is high. Gabo would not be out of place. We both had Manti (a kind of Turkish Ravioli) was amazing, the deserts (chocolate cake and pumpkin dessert) were just as good. Even the salad was perfect. My partner is Turkish and I’m British, and both of us were blown away. I wish we could spend more time in Ankara (we’re just here on holiday) to try the rest of the menu. I can’t think of anything negative. I’m not sure if they speak English or have an English menu, so that’s the only possible negative thing, but even if that was true, it’s still incredible.
I had only one night in Ankara and I'm so glad I'm here! I have a few Turkish classics that are difficult to find plant-based versions of. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. Very affordable also:
I wish I found this place earlier. Food was absolutely amazing and I really wanted to come back and try the rest of the menu. Gas many vegan versions of Turkish classics, but also at affordable prices.
