The Crab Barrack - Anniston

I was the only customer in the restaurant during my visit. I ordered the fried catfish filets with Cajun fries, but when the food arrived, both the fish and fries were completely unseasoned. The highlight of the meal was the sweet tea; unfortunately, that wasn't enough to justify the $16 price tag. I won't be returning.

I can only rate the food, due to this being take out but it was honestly very underwhelming. For not being on the water, I'm not sure what I expected. The portions were okay, the seasonings were borning, almost bland even though I personally got a boil bag which tend to be very well seasoned, cooked long and in large batches creating bold, spicy flavor this felt quick and soulless. Even the sides, and apps tasted borning.Maybe a bad day but definitely not my cup

I found the fish to have too many bones! I had to remove eight fairly large bones from my mouth, which was quite painful for my gums. I mentioned this to the staff, but they didn't even offer me a discount. I can't believe it.

I visited the restaurant at 1:30 p.m. and received the lunch menu when I sat down. After looking it over, I decided to order the chicken fingers, which I pointed to on the menu. However, the waitress, who also seemed to be the manager, was at the register on the other side of the bar instead of taking my order directly in front of me. After paying, I realized I was charged $13 instead of the $10 listed on the menu. I brought it to her attention and asked for an explanation.

This is the best seafood you?re gonna get in Calhoun County and surrounding areas? the house sauce is as of Jesus himself made it. The crab legs and shrimp are heavenly! My husband loves their fried shrimp and cajun fries! The service is excellent! I will say when they first opened there were some bumps in the road but now they are my #1 go-to place! We eat here once a week sometimes twice. Soooooo good!
