The Split Crow - Antigonish

I had the burger with cheese and bacon and fries. The food was good, our server was nice, no complaints :)

Top notch history lesson in what a bar should be. Service was excellent, beer was on point and the atmosphere was just what was needed.

I had supper this evening at the Split Crow Pub.__Wings were on special this evening I got half with honey garlic sauce and half with spicy Thai sauce.

It's a simple pub, and I have many memories from my university years hereBut I still like going back, because it doesn't have pretensions.

I'd checked this out online as an eating option while staying at the Homeward Inns of Canada in Antigonish. The place was empty save for half a dozen locals. We had a couple of cold ones before opting for food. It was simple tasty and reasonably priced. The two bar staff were very accommodating and polite. The bar is a mixed bag of open floor, upper seating area and extensive outside space. While there are the predictable Tim's, McDonald's, Subway and pizza takeaway options on the doorstep, the Split Crow offers something different... And cold beer!!
