Rai Rai Ken - Antipolo

Not sure if we've eaten here before coz this timeI didn't enjoy what we ordered. 1st, the price is over rated. Ordered Sanma (P250+) and seafood (P350+) bento. The bento comes with mixed veggies with mayo, miso soup, rice and pickled veggies (again). Aside from the price, i wasn't pleased with the quality of the food. The fish in the sanma was still ******, the rice in our bento was not Japanese rice and the tempura was not tempura it was more of breaded crabstick and shrimp. The taste was so so. The place is a bit crammed. The good things were: they serve complimentary house tea (by request), serving is enough for one person.

RaiRai Ken SM Masinag, Antipolo City Not quite sure if I would be happy enough with the Ramen, though the soup taste good, we really do not like the noodles used... it's like we ate "lucky me" noodles haha... The place is like any other fast food. The service? hmmmm I cannot say that it is poor, let's say it is slow and lacks courtesy, or maybe we encountered a wrong server ahahha... But I would say that the kani salad is great ahahah for the refreshing taste! Just try to visit and taste.

We've tried this Rai Rai Ken, SM Masinag outlet in Antipolo City, several times before starting from way back when they still offered the '50% Off Ramen' Promo meals. This time we had one of their Japanese Set Meals (Rai Rai Ken Teishoku), the California Maki and the Mini Ramen. Jeremy, our courteous and prompt lady server, brought us a tray with the following: Special Salad (shredded cabbage, carrots, cucumber, green and purple lettuce, topped with Japanese mayo); A cute/small fish-plate of pickled carrots and cucumber; 10-piece California Maki and the Miso-infused Mini Ramen with half an egg, leeks, pork cutlets and some other ingredients. Everything was very good! The price is reasonable and the place is clean and appealing.

Good alternative to Tokyo Tokyo. Not much customers eating here. Must be the price since I could spend lesser if I go to Tamagoya for authentic Japanese food. Anyway, food is ok though not that great. Service is commendable for the lone server. The other crew members were busy sitting in the dining area attending to paperwork and it seems so hard to call their attention.

I first ate Rairai at LCM. It tasted good and want to eat again. Im so glad that we moved in marikina they had a branch at Sm Masinag. I ordered miso ramen and chicken karage. The service is bad though. And the food arghh. Didnt finished my meal because of disapppointment. I will definitely will never come back to eat again here :(
