The other main chosen was a misnamed chicken schnitzel with more of the same greens and adequate fries. Note to the kitchen....a schnitzel is thinly pounded, crumbed fillet not a thick and clunky, re purposed parma. No table service....you order at the counter and get to walk to the bar to order drinks.Given the Melbourne pricing it's really poor value.Great range of beers though so if you must visit have a glass and some fries.
We had two black beers, they were delicious and the waiter was friendly, yes, two pints 25 dollars
Spacious and familiar place, with a play area for children. Quite varied menu, with options suitable for celiacs. We ordered nachos to share, grilled swordfish and the soup of the day (be careful, always ask what it is because it can be very spicy). The waitress is very friendly and attentive. Approximately $ 28 AUD per person.
Awesome place to relax by the fire and have a nice beer and Parma friendly staff and excellent lemons and limes
Enjoyed a meal here with overseas visitors who were also suitably impressed. The only thing that really surprised /shocked us was the turning away of 4 potential diners at 8.10pm and then another 2 at 8.30 pm on a Friday night as the kitchen was "çlosed".Good range of craft beers
