Great food with extra point for the service and ambience. (Food 3 Service 0.5 Ambience 0.5) If you like something with a touch of history, and true local food, this place fulfilled both your wishes. Truly unique on itself, a shop, a cafe and a musuem all in 1. The location itself is perfect for visitors heading to Otway Fly. Food is great and big serving. A fantastic place to visit and enjoy.
The NouriShed is the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat after exploring the Otways! My friend and I stopped here after doing the Tree Top walk and were pleasantly surprised! NouriShed is quirky and unique from the memorabilia to their funky retro looking furniture. We were in awe. I ordered the Earth Burger which had a veggie pattie and veggies. It lacked a bit of flavour but I still enjoyed it, the humus was delicious massive portion too! The staff were beautiful. They were so welcoming and kind. The food came out quickly too. Would definitely recommend if you need to fill your belly after a long day of exploration.
My partner and I were looking for a cafe near the Otway Treetop when we stumbled upon this restaurant via Zomato. As you drive down the road, you wouldn't have expected this to be a cafe at all.<br/ <br/ Inside, however, felt very cozy and country-esque. The ladies in the store were very friendly and were able to serve food from the breakfast menu even though it was already 1.30PM by that stage. I ordered the Big Breakfast whilst my partner ordered a burger (can't remember the exact name).<br/ <br/ The breakfast was served with bacon, spinach, tomato, eggs (cooked to your liking), mushrooms as well as 2 slices of sourdough. This tasted quite standard and the mushroom wasn't fried as good as other places that I've tried.<br/ <br/ However my partner absolutely loved his burger (it was priced at $18 including chips on the side). I had a bite of it and there was definitely a lot of filling inside of it. <br/ <br/ If I was in the area again. I would stop by this place again. If you're also looking to buy a few emergency grocery items, this is also the place for you.
After a long drive from Melbourne this cosy cafe was a perfect pitstop before our forest walk! The service was fantastic and the food was delicious (we ordered the egg and bacon roll and chicken schnitzel burger)! If you are passing through, pull in you won't be disappointed!!
