Gardens lake cafe - Ararat

We arrived at the cafe to a half closed roller door that we had to duck under to get inside to sit in a freezing cold cafe with equally frosty service. The coffee was awful - we actually went back to the car to sit where it was warmer and tipped it out.Very disappointing, glad we decided against ordering food.

Cafe style food. Recommend for breakfast lunch or dinner with a range of options - Bircher muesli for breakfast, waffles, the steak sandwich, chips ( and I usually never eat chips - so they must be good!) and all served with a friendly smile... the setting is the icing on the cake

This place is great! Awesome part of the park right near the pool. Staff we're so friendly, food was awesome! They had live music on a Saturday Too! Price was a little high but still better than a lot of places back home in Melbourne.

Such a wonderful idea, a Cafe in the park open to pool and park users a like, however with slow service and overpriced product I won't go out of my way to come back. Let's hope as time goes by they relook at costings and train their staff.

Just enjoyed a quick treat in this beautiful little spot. Lovely clean and modern, I'll be sure to bring my bathers next time!
