Contribuisci feedbackWhat a gem of Arcadia! Ordnete Chirashi bowl and it came not only with generous portion, but also decent quality. The fat tuna and the yellow tail were delicious!
I am no avid fan of sushi; I typically avoid Asian cuisine. However, my friends wanted to try sushi while we were in LA so I volunteered to go. Based off their reactions, I would say the sushi was pretty good here. I enjoyed the hurricane roll pictured here. It was so crunchy and the sauces were great.
My absolute favorite sushi spot in SGV! My boyfriend and I come here at least once or twice a month because of how much we love the sashimi here. The toro is melt in your mouth, and they never skimp on the Uni.
The omakase for two was fantastic, especially since it's rare to find lobster sashimi. That dish alone made it worth the price, and everything else was quite enjoyable. The first course featured fish sperm, which I could have easily skipped. The second course, dubbed the "carpaccio of death," was something I would advise against; it honestly tasted terrible. I returned another day for a nigiri session, which was generally good. The prices here are higher than at other places in Little Tokyo, likely due to the location. Some fusion dishes were a delightful surprise for the palate. While it's not the best sushi I've ever had, this spot offers a convenient option for quality sushi close to home. If you decide to go, I definitely recommend opting for the omakase.
1. **Whatever Roll**: This roll was anything but ordinary—absolutely delicious! The tempura bits provided a satisfying crunch that complemented the fresh tuna on top. Even though the prices are on the higher side, the portion sizes were generous, and the flavor was outstanding! 2. **BSC Roll**: I’ve had baked scallop rolls elsewhere, but this one ranks among the best. The scallops were cooked to perfection, with a slightly crispy exterior that added a lovely smokiness and texture. It came topped with sweet cooked onions (which I usually skip, but these were delightful) and mushrooms, both of which paired beautifully with the sushi and scallops. An incredibly tasty baked roll! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely return to explore more options on the menu!
