Obento - Arcata

The food at this restaurant is delicious and a welcome addition to the area. The dishes were cooked perfectly and the sauces were excellent, especially the takuan. The service was prompt and efficient. Overall, a great experience!

During a visit to the college from the Bay Area, I ordered the Obento. I had the chicken katsu, veggie sushi, and croquettes. The food was fresh, had unique flavors (the kimchi sauce on the takuan was amazing!), and the portions were just right. I especially enjoyed the stuffed inari pockets. The menu was simple and offered options that pleased everyone in our group. We are hoping that our teenager chooses HSU so that we can dine at this restaurant more frequently!

I don't know how they do it, but everything at this restaurant is just delicious! I haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but I can highly recommend the sushi tacos, chicken katsu, and veggie crunch roll. They are all so good!

Wow I've had a lot of sushi and this was easily the freshest and best tasting I've ever had! I got the taco Tuesday special, one spicy tuna and one lemon salmon sushi taco and they were both incredible. The flavors are delicate and well balanced. If you like sushi you will not be disappointed!
