Contribuisci feedbackThe lobby of the hotel is an experience in itself: imposing spaces and exquisite decor. The restaurant on the second floor is very pleasant. The wine list is short but very carefully selected. Service is impeccable and food is very, very good. Am sure we'll go back.
It 's promoted as high end and fine dining . However, although the food and wine were good (except my beef was quite tough told the waiter at the end but no apology and I have no idea if the chef was advised), the whole ambience of the restaurant was disappointing. The waiting staff were dressed in the same style outfits as the breakfast staff which didn 't make it feel like fine dining at all. It didn 't feel like a special experience unfortunately and didn 't do justice to the chef 's obvious talents.
Fantastic location, service and food. Deserves to be ranked higher. Beautifully presented courses and more than enough to eat. A great choice of vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes.
My wife and I, along with two other couples, are staying at Saccharum and ate dinner at Alambique the first night here. The food was fantastic, the decor was amazing, but the shining star in a very bright sky was our server, Annabel. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, kind, and anticipated our every need before we even knew we needed something! Her service was so great that we decided to forego finding dinner in town and instead ate again at Alambique. Drinks were spot on, the food was impeccable, presentation was beautiful, but all six of us agree that the service that Annabel provided to us both nights was above and beyond what we have all come to expect lately. I have a serious egg allergy, and she treated my every order as if she were protecting a loved family member from being made gravelly ill. That means so much to me, and being cared for in that manner was only the start. Every member of our six person group was made welcome, and it is why we will eat there again tomorrow, despite the numerous choices available to eat elsewhere. This review in no way should diminish, however, the amazing love and care the kitchen put into every savory bite we had, and how the other staff treated our group with friendliness and nothing but smiles and accommodation. We have now had a total of 15 different drinks, 5 different appetizers, 2 soups, 8 entrees, 9 main courses, and additional items with their tasting menu. We all agree that every single thing was fantastic. In short: Unparalleled service from Annabel. World class food. Magazine worthy presentation and decor. I hope that Alambique and Saccharum know that they have a super star working for them named Annabel. I know we certainly do!
