It is different from other dried version of Rocoto Relleno we tasted in other restaurants because it was cooked for perfection to be very juicy, and with delicious melted cheese on the top. The traditional Cuy chactado is a must try during your Peru trip. It looks a little scary what I could say, but you won't regret it. The meat tastes somewhat as a mixture between crispy duck and juicy pork. It was great. We also got the Lomo a lo zingaro, which was also great.
Like Pisco coca sour and Queso Helado (traditional Arequipa ice cream). Guinea pig is also very beautiful and crispy. Alpaca Rib is also very good.
We found this place walking in the city centre. The house is beautiful, with high ceiling arches made from traditional volcanic stone. The service was warm and attentive, and the food and wine were excellent I had a pepper steak; it was served with homemade pasta,... delicious! The wine list was extensive, which was a challenge, but the recommendation was very good. My husband had a lasagna with rocoto, it tasted fantastic!
Good surprise, we were looking for zigzag and found Zingaro! Gänse Plate, price correct ant service perfect, add good space and you have Zingaro
Alpacas and guinea pigs are made in a variety of ways – so you can enjoy all the angles of these sweet animals!
