Unfortunately, this restaurant is permanently closed. I arrived one day to find it shuttered. It would have been nice to have visited. They allowed customers to use their rewards points before shutting down. I'm just rambling now because Yelp is asking me to write more.
I had never been to this place before because I'm not a fan of poke, but after seeing that they also serve ramen, my curiosity was piqued. The restaurant looked clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered two bowls of tonkotsu ramen, which arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, we found the broth to be too salty for our liking, although the noodles were cooked well. The spiced egg was delicious and the chashu was tender. The staff kindly offered to adjust the flavor if we had mentioned it earlier, but by then we were almost finished with our meal. I think they should work on adjusting the saltiness of their broth before serving it to customers. Despite the disappointing ramen, I would be willing to try some of their other cooked dishes in the future.
I started ordering food from the food. I really like it and yes a lot of protein and toppings. very good. the only thing is that the sauces or packages of soy sauce are small portions. not much. I'm stuck on the tuna/Picky thun. yummy. my daughter likes the salmon. no complaining here. sat to dinate in recently and cozy place yummy eating decent ambiente. even though we left when it wasn't busy, I liked it.
Final Update to respond to manager Thank you for the update but with all due respect this has nothing to do with you paying fair wages. I am completely on board with that and understand. The issue I have is with gouging your customers. Unless your employee didn't have the info correct if I would have gotten my usual bowl I would have spent $11-12 for a happy hour sumo bowl. Yesterday's bowl probably had 4-cucumber slices on it. All I'm saying is be fair. Smaller toppings plus now having to pay for toppings depending on the size of the bowl you get seems a bit off. A small bowl gets you three toppings according to the employee. A sumo gets you 5? Every topping after that is 50-.75 more? Had I not come for happy hour that same sumo bowl would now cost me $13-$14. Good luck with your business, I wish you the best. Update as of October 2019 they are now charging for the sides if you get more than five. This means my usual samurai bowl will be like $3 extra. Will never come here again. Am a regular with over 20 visits. This is my last tim I'm not sure how I could love this place anymore than I already do. Tonight my love went tot the next level. May sound corny but i am incredibly pleased to see that they now have a dear employee working there. He made my bowl tonight and I'm not sure why but it just made me so happy. Oh. My. GAWD!!! This place is AMAZING. Cool and clean atmosphere plus super nice cooks plus super yummy bowls makes for a very happy girl. I went during happy hour so got a large (3 scoop) bowl for the price of the small (2 scoop) bowl. I will be back. Soooooooo excited to have tried this place.
