Beware that parking for the restaurant is on the 3rd floor of a very poorly designed parking lot off of 186th Street. The food was great! Very oily but we knew that and wanted the deliciousness. Everyone had the Thali and falooda. Service was slow at times, but that gave us a chance to digest and then eat even more. Unlimited lunch servings for under 20$ is a sweet deal. Especially liked the pooris, the kadhi, and the aloo pakodas.
On an Indian festival, whats better than having Authentic North indian thali. This was my first visit with family, although there was a long line the wait didn’t feel like too long. Very efficient way of operations. All precautions taken, cleanliness etc. The food was very delicious and flavorful. Numerous small dishes in the thali which all tasted so good I wish to go here again soon, hopefully soon.
Lunch was disappointing with a huge gap between the thali that shows up on website vs what got served foe $27. It's not the typical Rajdhani experience in India and as the server explained has no affiliation. Located on second floor with mediocre ambience. Plenty seating. One sees a piled up thalis on entering the restaurant. The host and servers are polite. One farsaan was a dholka and dry. No khichdi or papad or pickle..Food is what we came for and was a damper. Someone should visit the original Rajdhani for food flavors and variety.
Server served me Kadi even though I told them I was vegan and much later came back and took it out of my plate. They ran out of gulab jamun. The food was not worth the price. The food is overpriced! The servers are not knowledgeable. The servers also get so close the the plate that it makes me wonder if the serving spoon ever touches used portion of plates which is not hygienic. Overall I wouldn’t go there again. I didn’t like it.
The food is over priced. It was almost $30 a plate. For the quality of food you get it’s not worth the price. They also don’t have cold water. How do you not have cold water in 93 degree weather. Also if you use the men’s bathroom it doesn’t lock so good luck with that. Much better places to eat on pioneer blvd exist!
