A group of four visited the restaurant for lunch around 11:40 on a Sunday in late November. Be aware that parking is located on the third floor of a poorly designed lot off 186th Street. The food was fantastic! It was quite oily, but we were prepared for that and enjoyed every bite. We all ordered the Thali and falooda. While the service was occasionally slow, it allowed us to digest our food before diving back in for seconds. The unlimited lunch servings for under $20 are an amazing deal. We especially loved the pooris, kadhi, and aloo pakodas.
The restaurant is on the second floor with a mediocre ambiance, but there is plenty of seating available. Upon entering, you notice stacked thalis, which sets an unexpected tone. The host and servers were polite, but the food left much to be desired. One of the side dishes was a dholka that was dry, and there were no khichdi, papad, or pickle offered. Food was the main reason for my visit, and sadly, it fell short of expectations. If you're looking for authentic flavors and variety, I recommend visiting the original Rajdhani instead.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite informing the server that I am vegan, they served me Kadi and only later returned to remove it from my plate. They were also out of gulab jamun, which was disappointing. Overall, I found the food to be overpriced and not worth the cost. The servers did not seem knowledgeable about the menu, and I felt uncomfortable with how close they got to the plates, raising concerns about hygiene. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place and don’t plan to return.
The food is overpriced, with dishes costing nearly $30 each. Given the quality, it's just not worth it. Additionally, they don't offer cold water, which is surprising in 93-degree weather. I also noticed that the men's restroom doesn't lock, so be prepared for that inconvenience. There are definitely better dining options available on Pioneer Boulevard!
