On a Sunday after church, our family was in search of a unique Chinese restaurant in the Artesia/Cerritos area and discovered Tai Tai Restaurant near 99 Ranch Market. The restaurant was bustling with customers, so we decided to give it a try. The food was excellent, the portion sizes were satisfying, and the prices were reasonable. We really enjoyed our experience!
The restaurant offers delicious Cantonese-style dishes at reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly, and the place is kept clean. However, finding a parking spot can be challenging on weekends.
The shrimp dish served on gailan was somewhat disappointing, especially given the price. The shrimp were on the smaller side, but I appreciated that they actually used gailan instead of broccoli, which some restaurants do to cut costs. The tofu dish was just okay; it would have been much better if the tofu had been breaded and fried rather than using pre-packaged tofu. It was a kung pao style, but it missed the authentic fried peanut flavor and ended up tasting a bit soggy. One thing to note is that rice was not complimentary; there was a charge of $1.25 per person for it. In total, we spent $45 for the three dishes.
A recently opened restaurant that boasts a clean atmosphere, delicious food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. However, finding a parking space on weekends can be quite challenging.
