Hi, just to let people know it has closed . The space is now occupied by café 63. There is lot of competition on Racecourse Road , and you need to be at least on your B game
Basic Indian Fare, with some quality dishes, the Baramati Beef was excellent - the Lamb Ahad-E-Changazi most acceptable. The plain white rice , well cooked and fluffy. They do need to clean their bowls which is served the Papadums, it was very old greasy smell to it.The restaurant itself was very ordinary , very basic ; Not at all like the impression given by their website. They need to spend some more money and attention on their presentation, the waitress wore black track pants and sneakers !
This was my first Indian cuisine experience and I was very impressed. I had a Living Social deal that included an entree & main as well as Naan bread. All the food was delicious and thanks to this restaurant I now eat Indian food. The staff were helpful.
This is a fantastic authentic Indian restaurant and very reasonably priced. We had 2 different prawn starters which were delicious followed by a korma and tikka masala. They were also delicious and ample amounts which we couldn't finish. The naan was very good too. It's BYO and also licensed. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Will definitely be our regular Indian restaurant from now on.
