Chose to believe the other good reviews vs. the one bad one I saw. However, the low prices definitely reflect on the quality. Everything was honestly not good. The only thing that was even slightly enjoyable was the pork fried rice. Im not sure what the 133. Beef with Broccoli was cooked with but it was absolutely foul. I spit out the one bite I took and I couldnt believe it.
The food was delicious at this restaurant, especially the pork fried rice which had more flavor compared to other local places. Everything arrived hot and there were plenty of sauces for each dish. My family enjoyed the Fried Chicken Wings, Fried Chicken (1/2), Shrimp Lo Mein with egg, and Pork Egg Roll. We will definitely be ordering from here again.
I ordered a variety of dishes including Wonton Egg Drop Soup, Hot and Sour Soup, Singapore Rice Noodle, Fried Pork Dumplings, Hot and Spicy Bean Curd, and Chicken with Mixed Vegetables Combo Plate, along with a soda (Coke). I ordered enough food to last several days, and made it mostly spicy hot to help combat the cooler Autumn temperatures. When it came to my drink, I actually asked for Pepsi but requested regular Coke as a backup if they were out of Pepsi. Personally, I believe Pepsi pairs better with Chinese food than Coke does.
I used to order from a different Chinese restaurant for a while, but Eastern Restaurant offers much better value for the money. The dishes are filling and delicious, such as the Fried Pork Dumplings, Cold Noodles in Sesame Sauce, and Chicken Egg Foo Young Combo. I also enjoyed the Cream Soda and Pepsi. Highly recommend it.
