Service is okay, although the waiter was very nice, at times, we were left hanging for minutes before he was back to our table to check on us, even though the place was not even half full. He also forgot to place one of our appetizers. That apart, the chef, which happens to be also the owner is great. Very attentive, he stopped by couple times to check on our order and make sure everything was to our taste. We ended up having a nice conversation at the end of our meal as well. Talking about meal, our dishes were very good. I had the feijoada (black beans and several different cuts of pork meat) and my wife had the picanha, that was also very tasty! We also shared an appetizer that was perfect! You must try the acarajé! They also have Guarana, which is a brazilian soda. If you ended up there, give it a try! All in all, it was a good experience, just a little bumped down by the okay experience with the service, but could have been just a bad day for the guy and I would definitely stop by again for a second round!
We love this restaurant. The food and the service is great. Best Caipirinha in New York area. Best Feijoada I have ever had including in Rio de Janeiro. Brazil. The owner chef Herbert is very nice. Highly recommended.
Near Museum of Moving Image. Pleasant place, nice for lunch. Good, not great Brazilian food.
I always pass by and decided to finally go in with my boyfriend and I was very pleased with the food here. Will definitely be coming back!
Pretty Afro-Brazilian dishes but wish they would keep up the spice a little more. Over all it was a nice atmosphere and good food.
