New Red Bowl - Athens

Used to love eating here. Good waitstaff but the kitchen will send out bad quality food and refuse to fix it saying it 's good . I NEVER send food back or complain at a restaurant. I took 2 bites and couldn 't eat my food it was so bad. Guess I need to find a new Chinese restaurant because I am never going back here.

The dining experience was fantastic! I had the honey teriyaki eel and it was heavenly! I also tried the sunny roll and it has quickly become a favorite of mine. The place is clean, the service is excellent, and the wait time was reasonable. It’s definitely worth it!

Unless they can't handle spicy, I would encourage everyone to try the Szechuan menu. it is a real privilege to have a place that serves food like this, which is usually only found in a large city. everything is fantastic. so many great appetizers, and my favorite entree is the double boiled style. I have not tried the other parts of the menu, because it is usually what I can find everywhere, but it would not surprise me if their versions are superior because I have eaten nothing here, which was not exceptional. I am happy to drive all the way through the city to eat here, because nothing else comes in the opposite for Chinese.

Absolutely delicious!! Food came out quickly and was extremely fresh and hot. My dad got a cup of hot sour soup to start and Mushu pork, I had a cup of wonton soup to start and the spicy orange peel chicken. We both said our meals were some of the best Chinese we’ve had in a long time. Portions are huge and we had plenty of leftovers to take home. This place is definitely the real deal! Super authentic. So happy to finally have found a go-to Chinese place in Athens! Can’t wait to return

Exceptional, far exceeded expectations. They have a menu full of just sichuan food, and literally everything we ordered was seasoned perfectly (most places either under or over do the sodium), cooked perfectly, and the flavors were well balanced. The chili oil/sauce that came with the pork belly had the perfect amount of sichuan peppercorn brought a lovely floral note without being overpowering. If you're looking for more traditional Chinese food, there is zero (genuine) competition in Athens. Looking forward to visiting again.
