We ordered a sandwich with beyond sausage on a small hot dog bun for $14, which felt overpriced. The house salad for $8 had tasty dressing but came in a small dish. The interior layout is odd, with all the tables around the edge and nothing in the middle. It seems like there is only one staff member, so service is slow. Overall, I don't plan on returning to this vegan restaurant.
I don't usually write reviews, as I understand the challenges of running a restaurant, especially a fully vegan one. However, the high ratings of this place were very misleading and left me feeling somewhat deceived. We tried the chicken and waffles, but the "chicken" was just fried batter with no actual substance inside. It may have been overcooked, but it was inedible. The waffles were fine, but the syrup seemed artificial (I was expecting real maple syrup, which is not cheap). Overall, the dish was not worth the $25 per plate, including tip. Perhaps other menu items are better, but I would not recommend this particular dish.
I ordered the pancake platter for brunch and it was delicious! The donuts I took to-go were also excellent.
We arrived right when it opened and they were so friendly and started our food right away! We took it to go to Centennial Park and were amazed by the amount on our sub. Would recommend for tourists as it was easy to park on the street and hop in!
This place was really good! extremely friendly and just overall a really solid experience.
