Busy Bee Cafe - Atlanta

I thought Gus fried chicken was the best til i ate at Busy Bee Everything was delicious! I had collards, fried chicken, yams & fried okra.

Based off of fellow Detroit Yelper Rodrigo T., I was pointed in the direction of Busy Bee for my last meal before leaving Atlanta.

My favorite southern cooking in all of Atlanta! Sometimes the wait is long, and the space is tight, but food is totally worth it.

Are you looking for the best Soul Food in Atlanta? Stop looking... The bee is the place. Opened since the 1950s, the space is small and always packed with locals and tourists. My favorite meal is the Southern Fried Chicken...beelicious. Choose from sites like Kraut, Yams, Makkaroni and Cheese and so much more. For every day of the week there is another special. For $7.99 you get a meat, two sides, bread and sweet iced tea. Absolutely.

Excellent soul food. The roasted shrimp dinner is an absolute must. The bread is savory and full of taste. The Mac and the cheese were very like home and so were the greens. We also got the fried chicken that was great. Shrimp was a fan lover. To complete everything, we got the lime cake and it was not disappointed. It is worth waiting if you want the comfort of soul food.
