Cafe Bombay - Atlanta

Cafe Bombay is where I had the best Kadhi Pakoda. The flavor of the kadhi was authentic, and the onion pakoras were also quite tasty. Overall, the lunch buffet offers a good selection of flavors.

We’ve been searching for a decent Indian restaurant in Atlanta, but it seems there aren’t many options. We tried Cafe Bombay and found it to be somewhat underwhelming, although it wasn't terrible. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were affordable, which bumped up our rating a bit. The food itself, however, only rated a solid 3 stars. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. We’ll probably return, as we still haven’t discovered a better choice in Atlanta.

For lunch, I ordered the butter chicken, goat biryani, Bombay mixed grill, palak paneer, garlic naan, and gulab jamun. This was my first experience with authentic Indian cuisine, and I must say the food was exquisite. I enjoyed every dish, but my favorite was the Bombay mixed grill; all the meats were fantastic. I will certainly return to this restaurant and highly recommend it to others.
