Captain D's - Atlanta

Buyer beware! On Tuesday, September 27, 2022, I ordered an ice pocket and a cup of ice. The total came to $2.15, and I paid with a $20 bill. I expected to receive $17.85 in change, but the cashier, who was a dark-skinned African American woman, gave me $12.85 instead. It seems either she cannot count or there was some dishonesty involved. I tried to call the restaurant to address the issue but did not get a response. Proceed with caution!

I ordered food through DoorDash, and it arrived faster than expected. However, when I received my order, the fries were old and too hard to eat, and the fish was cold. When I called the restaurant to complain, they insisted that the food wasn’t cold and that it might have been due to how long the delivery took from Captain D's to my house. They couldn't figure out the timing either.

I ordered food through Grubhub, so I expected to just pick it up without waiting. However, I found myself having to wait in a long drive-thru line to collect my already completed order. The building itself looked unkempt and dirty, which made me question the cleanliness and safety of the food.

They were nice. The food was hot. Service was a little slow at that time, but good overall.
