This place is the worst in Atlanta at answering their phones.
Samri is phenomenal! I've been twice and have observed her moving through the dining room gracefully and swiftly. She takes care of each table with a welcoming smile and professionalism. Her energy is top notch. The pancakes have such a perfectly crisp edge, that I came back specifically because I enjoyed them so much back in December. The cherry on top is that there's a Stevie Wonder exhibit at the Thompson Hotel, so I ended my delicious breakfast with a walk through the galleries.
I went for a private affair. I will definitely return. Everything was good and not over priced. You have to attend the rooftop as well.
My wife and I arrived 5 minutes before our reservation time and was sat promptly. Soon thereafter we were greeted by Jeff and offered water and a menu. The water came out quickly and after roughly 20 25 minutes, that was the last interaction we had with anyone from the restaurant. We looked around and noticed most of the tables were still waiting on food or had menus (despite most having been there before us). Then we noticed that the restaurant continued to seat people as they arrived but clearly didn’t the capacity to provide service to those already seated. Needless to say, we left (with no interaction from anyone in the restaurant). It’s Saturday night in Atlanta, DO BETTER!!!!! Maybe the worst example of customer service that I have seen in Atlanta.
