Hal's The Steakhouse - Atlanta

The food and service at this restaurant were outstanding. It was definitely worth every dollar spent. I highly recommend Hal's! The strawberry cheesecake is absolutely amazing—it's a must-try! My husband and I both enjoyed the steak, creamed spinach, white truffle macaroni, and Brussels sprouts. For drinks, I had the lemon drop and he went with the old fashioned. You really need to check this place out!

The food was outstanding! We both ordered an appetizer, and our steaks came with a small side of creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, and one additional choice, which was just the right portion size. We ended up with plenty of leftovers, easily getting two meals out of it. If we had come with a larger group, I would have ordered additional sides, but for just the two of us, it was more than enough. Here’s what we ordered: - **Beef Steak Tomato and Onion Salad ($10.95)**: It was good, but not something I'd say is a must-try. - **Shrimp Remoulade ($14.95)**: My husband loved this dish! - **Hal’s Ribeye (20 oz., $71.95)**: My husband absolutely adored it! He chose the creamed spinach and claimed it was the best he’d ever had. I’m not usually a fan of creamed spinach, but I ended up going back for more! - **Filet Mignon (12 oz., $66.95)**: This was fantastic! The flavor was incredible, and the sear on the outside was perfection. I opted for the mashed potatoes as my side, and they were delicious. - **White Truffle Macaroni and Cheese ($12)**: I love mac and cheese, and while this was tasty, I wouldn't consider it essential for just two people. If you’re in a larger group, it would be worth ordering. - **Brussels Sprouts ($12)**: These were outstanding! I would definitely recommend them. - **Chocolate Cake ($9.95)**: We had hoped for a warm chocolate lava cake, but it didn’t come out that way. Nonetheless, it was still tasty! Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at Hal's and would highly recommend it. It’s undoubtedly some of the best steak we’ve had in Atlanta, and we plan to return!

My wife and I celebrated our 29th anniversary at Hal's, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. We had an 8 PM reservation but arrived early, and they quickly accommodated us with a table. Our server, Robert, was incredible—one of the best we've ever had. We started with charbroiled oysters topped with butter, garlic, and Parmesan, which were absolutely perfect. We then enjoyed a wedge salad, filet mignon, and lyonnaise potatoes. The steaks were tender and bursting with flavor. We finished our meal with cheesecake, and it was the cherry on top! Overall, it was one of the best dining experiences we've ever had.

This place is ridiculously over priced. It was loud and too may people squeezed in one space. Our table was right next to the people next to us I could have took food off their table we were so close. The AC had to be broken it was so hot on the secondfloor. We had a reservation and still have to wait 25 mins. You cannot even finish your food because The bust boys came byconsistently asking are you done, I had told tell him 5 times I am still eating. We were a party of 5 and feel like it was notworth the 700 plus dollars we paid. Server was really good. Food was ok. Very disappointed.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing, I forgot our server's name but he was so great and offered complimentary dessert because there was a small wait on the Lobster Mac. The Lobster Mac is DELICIOUS and the Prime Ribeye wasso tender. It did take a bit longer to seat us even though we had a reservation but it was absolutely packed so understandable.There was another couple that had an earlier reservation and seemed to wait a while but didn't get seated.. I wasn't sure why wewere seated before them so I thought they could have been better organized in that aspect. The lights are very dim which can bekind of difficult to see around and the tables for 2 are really small so there isn't much space. The bread pudding has a muchstronger bourbon taste so if that's not your cup of tea, I'd recommend the tiramisu.
