Hero Doughnuts - Atlanta

We tried their donuts, and they were fantastic! The texture of the donuts is a bit more bread-like, but in a light and airy way. I particularly loved the Boston cream donut (my favorite), which didn't have the overly sweet premade frosting that you find at most places. Instead, it had a wonderfully creamy and smooth filling that wasn't too sweet. The banana pudding donut was also incredible. The blueberry and jam-filled donuts had a nice tang to them. If I had one complaint, it would be that I wished they were just a bit fresher (we visited around 11 AM).

While the selection wasn't extensive, it was my friend's first time here, and she wanted to give it a try. The cashier was a really friendly young Black woman who made some helpful suggestions.

The brioche doughnuts here are intriguing, beautifully topped, and flavorful. They have a much more “bready” texture compared to traditional fried doughnuts or California-style ones, but they’re quite enjoyable. I returned a second time to try their burgers, and unfortunately, I had to lower my rating: the burgers are rather small, and the mac and cheese was served cold.

We came here for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! We got the beignets, loaded hashbrowns, doughnuts, breakfast plate, and 2 lattes. The beignets were so fluffy and melt in your mouth! The hashbrowns were delicious and filling and the lattes were just the right amount of sweet! The gentleman that took our order was very sweet and nice and was very happy! They had inside and outside seating and was big and spacious with big windows so it was bright inside. Definitely will be back again!

Looks clean and neat. Service was speedy and polite. When I got there at 3:30pm there wasn't much of a selection left to choose from. I liked my Boston creme and my 4 year old likes the strawberry, No sprinkles!
