The sleek, futuristic lobby, featuring impressive glass elevators, sets a modern tone upon arrival. Guests can enjoy a fantastic gym equipped with the latest fitness technology. The staff are exceptional, consistently delivering outstanding service and making every guest feel welcome. Additionally, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a quick 20-minute subway ride from the airport, with the station only a block away. Combining luxury, comfort, and accessibility, the Hyatt Atlanta is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers.
The Hyatt Regency Atlanta provides a dependable experience. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Peachtree station for the Marta. This is an excellent plus for the hotel. If you are traveling to and from the airport. It makes your experience easier. Also traveling around the city via Marta is easy when it is next door. The Hub is right above the station and is attached to the hotel via a bridge. It has a variety of food options, pharmacy, etc. Thus if you have forgotten anything it is right next door to you. And having multiple food options next door is a great option. If you brought your vehicle you can use the valet. It is fifty dollars a day. Or you can choose a city lot they are less expensive. There are a variety of rooms to choose from. The hotel has two different towers along with the main rooms. It also has a multiple conference rooms. The staff have always been friendly. We requested an early check in. We completed the process with all of our information early that way we could walk in and grab our keys when we arrived. We left our bags with concierge. We arrived at 12pm. We were able to check in at 2pm. We appreciated being able to check in early. The hotel has two restaurants and a bar. The food is ok. There is a marketplace area to grab food, drinks, forgotten items etc. And another smaller market area around the corner from the check in which is just a little less expensive than the main market area. The Hyatt Regency Atlanta is a good choice if you're looking for a place to stay.
I can't complain about ANYTHING. I booked a 1 night stay in a walk out balcony room for about $150 at the time. My only suggestion is to pay the valet fee so your car and valuables are safe. Otherwise you'll have to park at a flat rate offsite parking lot, and at that point just leave your windows down enough for someone to stick their arm in and just open it up so you don't have a broken window. This is still Atlanta
I stayed here for four nights, so I feel like I can give a fair review. Note: this is a CONFERENCE hotel, not a vacation hotel. Just be warned that if you are a casual traveler I was here for work but not a conference , you may be stuck with 1,200 middle aged conference goers like I was. And those people liked to PARTY and party LOUD. This is an older hotel, but it's been updated some. Everyone loves the elevators and they are stunning to look at , but there aren't enough of them for 1,200 people so during prime time you may be waiting forever for an elevator. The rooms: I had a 2 queen bed with a balcony room. The balcony was tiny, but I'm scared of heights and didn't go out there. The beds were okay-ish for comfort, but a bit soft for me. Same with the pillows. The room was CLEAN, but it was clearly in need of TLC--chipped paint, stained and threadbare carpet, etc. The shower had zero water pressure, practically, and the sinks were hilariously poorly designed. When you wash your hands water goes all over the counter. Amenities in room are sparse because this is a CONFERENCE hotel and they want you to expense everything. You get a Keurig, k-cups, a couple of cups, and a fridge. There's an in-room safe if that is your thing, as well. Oh and if you want to pay $4 for a bottle of water, they've got you covered in the room. There's bare bones live TV and also a constantly malfunctioning Chromecast option. Wifi is spotty at times. There are 3 dining options in the restaurant--a market with grab and go options, $4 sodas, etc. I suppose you could microwave the grab and go options in the janky microwave in the hallway? There is also a bar that serves food the food is fine that conference goers love to mingle in and get loud in. Note: rooms face this open central area, so the drunker you get the louder your room is. There's also a Southern restarant that also offers a $30 breakfast buffet. I had it. It was meh. I think dinner is far better. You do have other options, though, thanks to the ample skybridges to other hotels, a CVS, a food court with various fast food options, etc. Just be warned it's a bit of a labrynth. I didn't use it, but parking is $60/day !!! . They also have an outdoor pool that is open seasonally. Service is impeccable at this hotel, which is pretty amazing considering the crowds they attract. It's centrally located, as well. The other reviews warning about homeless folks are correct, but I didn't find them overly pushy. If you've been to any large city and survived, you'll be prepared. Overall: if someone else was paying for it, I'd stay here again.
All things considered, this is a nice hotel. It has a lobby bar, restaurant and a market where you can get quick breakfast or dinner items. The staff in the market were very nice, as were the front desk staff. The standard restaurant Sway was just okay. The lady at the bar was very nice but she had a little rift with another employee where they were having attitude with each other regarding who should give me my too go order bag. So when it was handed to me I said thank you but was ignored because the lady that gave it to me was too busy giving a dirty look to the bartender who suggested it was that lady's job to give it to me. This is not the customer's issue, so they should be mindful of this and keep their fights behind the scene. I ordered shrimp and grits and it was pretty good with the exception of the mushroom chunks. The honey biscuits were supposed to be a speciality of theirs but I found them underwhelming. The room was clean and comfortable, which was a major plus. The balconies have no furniture which is a bit odd, but besides that I can't complain about the room. Overall it is an above average to good, but not great, hotel that I would likely return to if the opportunity presents itself.
