Marlow's Tavern - Atlanta

I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant and the amazing service! Shout-out to our server, Alex, the managers Jake and the Rachel, along with other team members. The reservation for my birthday dinner with Rachel was flawless. The follow-up great. The day of, the manager pulled a few team members together to help set up items that I’d brought in to make the room and tables pop! It was very exciting. The food was great! Our server was attentive and timely with food and checks. I would definitely recommend this location and will definitely go back.

Walked in there not expecting much.looked at the menu an an still had low expectations. Informed the waitress it was our first time eatin there an she broke down the popular items. Suggested her favorites an was truly blown away by the food. The shrimp an grits was amazing. Firecracker shrimp delicious but the shrimp and crab nachos was the soooooooo delicious. It looks nothin like u are expecting. The manager was great they made our first visit great we will definitely be back again. If u go u wont be disappointed by the food or the service. Wish i could give it 10 stars cause they truly exceeded my expectations.....

Normally, this is one of my favorite places. Today was a nightmare. Someone put yesterday’s specials on the table. Our waiter took the order, then came back to tell us they didn’t have those specials. We changed our order and everything came out at different times. My friend’s fried asparagus came at the end of the meal. My flatbread was burned. The checks were incorrect. Our waiter remained pleasant and polite. But we should have been comped something for the disaster.

Mediocre burger with amazing service. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The burger was not properly cooked and I suspect their sauces were not freshly made. French fries were great so do not miss it if you visit this place.

For whatever reason, this is my go to place. Nothing exceptional about this place, but when I have to make a quick decision somehow I always end up there for no obvious reason. And it's not even close to where I work or live (they do have a few dishes that I like and they are just the right cross between a British pub and an American restaurant) . Maybe because detective Marlowe by Raymond Chandler is one of my favorite fictional characters. I know, spelling is not the same, but who cares... It's how something makes you feel that matters. And that's what this is all about going to Marlowe's makes me feel good.
