Mccray's Tavern Midtown - Atlanta

We need a quick dinner before our 20 o'clock concert. this place is favorable. there is no parking in the restaurant, but there are several large parking spaces in the opposite. I would have given him 5 stars, but the service was somewhat slower than expected. it was a Thursday night, but the restaurant was well packed, which is a positive sign. we ordered fish and chip, the delicious was the fish was fat, but that is expected, and the fries were beautifully made and crispy and a santa fe hamburger. we chose a tweeper ring as a side part, but it was so dreadful and unpleasant. I wouldn't serve anyone like that. there are some good finished frying mix out there that they could have used. or there are so many simple frying mix recipes that "s worth using. the burger himself was nice. the Aioli sauce was decent. I recommend this place. Hopefully, the woofer rings could be significantly improved.

Loved the menu. Had a little something for everyone. The Food was very good!!

We were seated at the top of the stairs table which was uncomfortable. Everyone someone came up stairs our table was binned. The waiter and waitress keep bumping our table and husband. This is not a good location for seating and either tables moves to the left or a two person table for room. Food was Luke warm so but overall the chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits were good. Great location to watch a game however don’t go for Mimi’s they only have pineapple and everyone is not a fan of pineapple .

It was fine. Nothing terrible but also nothing worth noting. Service a bit slow.

Our server Ace was friendly and attentive. Best sweet potato fries and the honey mustard tasted homemade.
