There’s a discrete pink door on the side of the building facing the paid parking lot. If you go earlier in the night you might be able to catch free street parking. On a Friday at 9pm, it’s a bit quirt and intimate but it really picks up after 10pm when the crowd comes. The drinks are good and decently priced $13-18. The Wake The Dead was so refreshing and my favorite even they all were lovely to drink. The food is flavorful but the portions are a bit small. You’ll be satisfied but not full. So consider getting an app too if you’re truly hungry or eat before you get there.
We literally were the only people there the whole night. The outside looked closed. No lights, nothing welcoming. When we came in the employee were on their phones and laptop. The whole lounge was as big as a living room. Ambiance was very bleh. We had two drinks that came out to $35. The drinks were good tasting-ish but this isnt Jojo 's Beloved Cocktail lounge ambiance. It felt just like waking up to a bad hook up that you arent attracted to, that says they have feelings for you and then proceeds to ask how you feel. And all you can say is: Dead Inside . That was Parlor. Dead Inside.
My husband and I went out to enjoy craft cocktails however out of three drinks we tried only one truly impressed, the Corpse Reviver. Their rum drink lacked creativity and the pear sour was just fine. The decor was lovely but hard to enjoy due to dim lighting they had that night. It’s definitely a speak easy vibe if you’re into that. The bites were $18+ which we felt was expensive for a bite so we didn’t try them. Overall I wouldn’t go back but I feel there are those who would enjoy the atmosphere there.
I didn't have any food but the app won't allow you to leave any topic blank. The drinks were just ok. The old fashioned was red for some reason and there wasn't a lemon. But I think this is a decent place to go to get to know someone. It's intimate and interesting. the venue is very cute but super tiny so we found ourselves required to stand up to let people walk through to their tables. You're also very close to the next tables conversation so if your next to a loud party it could be a pain. And at times the bartender shaking a drink overshadowed the music. There's also some type of venue nextdoor that was playing a totally different type of music very loud so it too kind of affected the ambiance in parlor. It's also $20 to park in their Parking lot.
Great ambiance, tasty drinks, but the food service was slow.
