Smoothie King - Atlanta

My smoothie was not prepared smoothly. Additionally, I noticed that a mother and her two daughters were working at the restaurant the next day. One of the girls took my order (but seemed unsure), the other girl had to make the smoothie, and then the mother had to correct her.

I have never experienced such a lack of urgency at a restaurant or food establishment before. The staff moves at a painfully slow pace, almost as if they are moving through molasses. The cafe is always crowded, with a line of people waiting to pick up their orders, and it takes at least 5-10 minutes to get a drink. It seems like someone must have trained them to work slowly, although I can't blame them entirely. I have visited three times in the past week, and each time I had to wait 20-25 minutes. One day, my friend and I left because even the bus boy noticed how slow they were moving. On my last visit, I had pre-ordered and still waited almost 40 minutes for my drinks. By the time they were finally ready, the cafe was empty. I debated giving them 3 stars, but the smoothies were really good, despite the excessive wait time.

Whenever I visit this restaurant, there is always some sort of issue or delay. I'm fed up with ordering ahead online only to still have to wait when I arrive. During my last visit, I witnessed the staff making my smoothie too thick, so they added water to thin it out. Unfortunately, the smoothie tasted like watered-down fruit juice as a result.

Used to love this place until a shift meant to believe with their total and total lack of respect for tipper completely destroyed. will take my daily business in steps until it is gone. I never complained when I was short on the short cash draw (a rotating thing) because I wanted to type anyway. the one time that the last night upset me, because it technically forced me to type the one I didn't want. As long as the girl works there, I would recommend that the people literally go anywhere to get a smoothie even mcdonalds.

The employees were very nice and worked well together. I think they were training today but I got my smoothie quickly.
