Torched Hop Brewing Company - Atlanta

I've been wanting to try out this restaurant, and I'm so glad I finally did. They have a special on Mondays called Burger Mondays, which features a double-patty cheeseburger with fries and a house beer for just $12. The burger was incredible, and the freshly cut fries were perfectly seasoned (perhaps a bit too salty for most people's taste, but I actually prefer it that way). The beer I chose, a fantastic dark Mexican lager, complemented the meal perfectly. The service was very polite and attentive, and my food arrived quickly. I can't believe I've been missing out on this place, and I definitely plan to return.

We live near the torched hop, so it is finished a standard place for if we want to go somewhere simple and tasty. the personal is always friendly and attentive and we had some great food and drink recommendations. the place itself is cool, but always feels really calm and this way throws me because I think of breweries/bars as alive, but the positive side is that we never have to wait to sit somewhere. we have also recently discovered that it is a good place to watch sport because they have 2 tvs in the bar area, 2 large projector screens in the upper floor it area and I think a tw or two in the lower dining/backball area. eating is also quite good. we liked everything we ordered, but I was particularly happy with the choice. If I am in the mood for wings or a Cheesy pleasure castle, then I am always happy with what I get. but if I am more in the mood for something light, like an salad, then I was really happy with the portion and quality of the ingredients. I hate a boring iceberg salad “salad” and I could not find any pictures of what the torched hop offered for salads, so I have a chance of a day and I am glad that I did! bier and wine and cocktail selection is also great. I just wait for more people to discover this place, but at the same time I love that it feels so quiet and small neighboring.

Looked at the bar and got a beer while we wait for takeout; the beer was good (but not even brewed by torched hop, it was a “gasthahn” and when we came home, we discovered that eating was terrible. we found at home that the two burgers were not thoroughly boiled and had a cool pink center (do not specify or ask us for rare/medium/made/etc, the pimento hush puppies were liquid teig in the middle, and everything is too salty, also the fried green tomatoes and tattoos. we have wasted about $100 and now order Thai food as a replacement.

Good beer and even better service. there was no food, but the majority of people eating seemed to be happy. will be leaving.
