Vinny's N.y. Pizza Grill Midtown

Moved to GA about a year ago and this place hands down, is the closest I’ve had to NY style pizza. I love GA, but this pizza triggered some homesickness. The calzone was phenomenal, the pizza by the slice was on point. I would recommend this place to any NYer missing home a bit

The first i came to Vinny's New York pizza the pizza was good! i love NEW YORK pizza. the second time i tried the stromboli was over priced. the stromboli dough was over cooked! and a dog came inside the pizza restaurant, i am ok to bring the food outside seating with a dog.! DOGS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED INSIDE RESTAURANT WHERE FOOD IS COOKING! not a friendly pizza place!

Vinny’s Pizza is by far my favorite pizza, but tonight I learned that the location you order from matters. I typically order from Vinny’s Ansley Mall, and it is the best. Tonight I made the mistake of ordering a margarita pizza from the Peachtree location, and it was not the same. Ansley Mall Piedmont location uses fresh tomatoes, Peachtree location only a tomato purée that was just ok. Go to Vinny’s at Ansley Mall, you won’t be disappointed.

I ordered the lasagna pizza and it’s so good and I would have gave 5 stars but while eating I realized I was chewing a piece of plastic that was cooked into the pizza. I couldn’t even finish the pizza.

One of my favorite spots in Atlanta. Granted, I live across the street and the convenience can't be beat. But the food is always fantastic and the owner couldn't be any nicer. Case example: Every time I go in, he always slips a little something extra into my order just because I've been going there so long. I've been to New York five or six times over the years, always grab some slices when I'm there, and this is as good as anything I've had. Highest recommendation.
