Marias Mexican Tacos - Auburn

I find it frustrating that I cannot give a higher rating for this restaurant. The food is absolutely fantastic! I live about 30 minutes away, but every time I pass by, I make sure to stop in. The quality of the food is top-notch in my opinion. The staff is also extremely friendly, making the overall dining experience enjoyable. However, the reason for my low rating is that I have had multiple unsuccessful attempts to order from this place. I have called, visited in person, and tried to order online numerous times. Despite my efforts, the restaurant has been closed 95% of the time I have tried to get food. Even during normal business hours, there is no indication that they are closed. It is incredibly frustrating to waste time and effort trying to dine at this establishment, especially when I live so far away. It would be helpful to have clear information on when they are actually open for business.

The staff was professional and efficient, even during the busy lunch rush. I ordered a steak burrito, which was okay. The rice had good flavor, but there was very little meat inside. Unfortunately, most bites didn't have any meat. The burrito was huge, so it was a bit disappointing. We plan to try it again and maybe order tacos next time. The kids' quesadilla was good, especially with the cheese on the outside - delicious!

I live close to this restaurant and have been wanting to try it. Today, I finally did and realized I wasn't missing out on much. There were two people working behind the counter, and they both seemed friendly when we arrived. We ordered the 2 taco plate, which was supposed to come with guacamole. We chose the Beyond Meat tacos. As this was my first time at the restaurant, I wasn't sure what to expect. When our order came out, the employee asked how we wanted the tacos prepared, pointing to a sign with three options. I made my selection, but noticed that there was no guacamole on the tacos when I started eating. I politely inquired about the missing guacamole, and the employee became rude, stating that I had chosen the "street" option. I pointed out that none of the options listed included guacamole, and he reluctantly gave me a small side of guacamole, but by that point, I was already done with my tacos. Overall, I was excited to try this restaurant for their plant-based meat options, but the tacos were flavorless and the employee was rude, so I will not be returning.

We stopped in while charging our car and loved it. Friendly, quick service and tasty tacos at a reasonable price.

Love their tacos ?. Employees are very nice and engaging. Great place to go.
