Cassia - Auckland

Visited for birthday dinner. Wow, this place is great. Top service, great atmosphere and naturally delicious food.

Literally the best Indian dining experience I have ever had. We came with no reservation, but the host kindly seated us at the bar. From there, our party of four embarked on Cassia 's Journey Through India menu. The pacing started off slow, then just as I was truly hungry, we received an onslaught of dishes, including their lamb kebab. I can see why they call it their signature dish. Everything was delicious, but my personal favorite was the mushrooms early on. Such a texture that you can chew them and enjoy the taste for awhile.

Very good ambiance. Food was tasty and a bit different compared to traditional Indian restaurants. Worth the visit. Presentation of food is commendable. Menu is very simple and easy to understand. Business lunch is a very good value for the money.

The experience here was completely unexpected and so different from any other dining experience we've had. The Journey was delightful and every tasting and story that went along with it was spectacular. We will be back.

Every court is a painting on him.. Food is full of taste that you cannot ignore. The restaurant is the best in NZ and there are several reasons. Quality, quantity, presentation and above all the service. I'd like to go back there.
