Cilantro - Auckland

Moved to the area and ordered uber isst from cilantro. The butter chicken and lamb Rogan Josh was amazing. Also impressed by the amount of chicken and lamb in the curries. Most Indian takeaways get you a few small pieces of chicken in the butter chicken, which is disappointing, but large pieces of chicken and lamb in each dish was amazing. The food tasted great, perfect portions and quickly and hot. Will definitely order again and recommend others. Thank you

My chili supervisor and malai kofta were amazing. Super freshly baked spices with fresh ginger absolutely divine. Thank you for my special vegetarian request.

Clay Pot Chicken One must try here and Roti Naans are also good quality. Must try in Northwest Auckland if you are looking for Indian food.

Great Indian restaurant. I've been here for years and it's still one of the best local restaurants. Your lunch is especially great now when we mainly work from home. The staff is very good with and occasionally gives discounts for regular customers. Very recommended for Indian food lovers.

We ordered a Perfect for two combo (2 main curries, rice and naans upgraded to garlic naan for an extra buck) for the first time yesterday. Their chicken tikka masala curry is possibly one of the best I've had in NZ to date. The gravy has a great texture, packed with epic flavours, reminding me of the authentic dishes I've had in India. The chef's rendition of chicken korma is perhaps non traditional or unique as they blend in almond, cashew and poppy seeds in the gravy giving a grey peppery look. It was okay but it was not the yellow cashew creamy gravy I was expecting. I will definitely return to try more tikka masala in the future!
