Hollywood Bakery Espresso - Auckland

I always bring my Nan here when we're out and about doing some shopping in Albany. I know we'll be served quickly, there will always be seating and the food will be good. They also have a lot of variety which suits my fussy Nan! We usually get a pie or sandwich and share a piece of cake after. So far the chocolate cake has been a stand out. A really reliable option on a shopping trip out.

I have been to this hollywood a few times, and today I ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate muffin. The muffin was amazing as always : but I would recommend the milk being stored when not being used, but other than that everything else tastes absolutely fine! : <br/ <br/ I'd also like to add I like the staff, really friendly people :

I am a huge fan of the entire Hollywood Bakery chain, but this one (next to The Warehouse, Albany is my absolute favourite as it is the first one that I ever discovered, probably 12 years ago now when I worked part time as a student at The Warehouse.<br/ <br/ What's not to like?! I looooove their sandwiches, I don't know what type of mayonnaise they use but I guess they make their own, and it is amazing. They have a fantastic selection of cakes. The coffee is always spot on. The fluffies are so much better than any of their competitors.<br/ <br/ The service is always quick, friendly and efficient. It offers great value for money many of the prices are cheaper than their competitors, plus you get a free muffin with all espresso based coffees.<br/ <br/ In fact I love this place so much that when my newborn daughter went on her first ever outing, guess where I took her? (Okay so I didn't really set out to take her there, but we ended up there on the way back from where we had been, so it was still her first cafe experience. <br/ <br/ I don't know how many times I've been to this cafe I'm going to guess 500 times, as I certainly went twice per week the entire time that I worked at The Warehouse and I've been back hundreds of times since and in all that time, I have NEVER had any kind of negative experience. Now that's saying something.
