Ken Yakitori Anzac - Auckland

I absolutely love this restaurant! They serve the best miso soup in Auckland, without a doubt. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere feels genuinely authentic, and the staff is wonderful. Plus, they have a great selection of sake! I've been here countless times and can't wait to return.

Exceptional Yakitori served in a charming, traditional bar. I highly recommend being adventurous and trying their chicken skin and organ skewers—they're fantastic! Everything is prepared with great precision, and you can really tell they know what they're doing. My only complaint is about the cabbage they provide for free; I could use some guidance on what to do with it, haha!

The food is consistently excellent. However, the seating can be uncomfortable since it's bench-style and often crowded. I suppose that's a testament to the restaurant's popularity, and I'm definitely open to returning!

Oh my gowd, this is very good and decent Yakitori bar, I jst wish they are open one in Melbourne , Australia. We used to live in Auckland 8 years ago and we went visiting Auckland again. Definitely one of Auckland’s institution, their food is stil have the same quality and they are surely still very good Yakitori. We always go and eat in Ken Yakitori whenever we are in Auckland

Best karage chicken in Auckland (possibly even in Nz?! always a special treat coming here. Very popular so book in advance for more than two people. Extremely delicious food and good drinks selection!
